2001 Audi a4 Quattro has the typical dead pixels in the center of the dash info. display. It sometimes beeps 3 times while driving and I can't read what the problem is. The car seems to run fine, but I'm worried that by driving it, I may end up stranded along the road if the car decides to STOP on it's own. I'd love to have this problem repaired without having to take out a loan! Any suggestions? Thanks!Can anyone besides an Audi dealer repair the dash pixel problem?i have an 01 audi a4 1.8t, and i have the exact same problem. dont worry about it though, the center led is just cosmetic. if there were something wrong with the car, it would show it in the mph gauge or rpm gauge. the center led shows things like temp, mpg, etc. you dont need to worry about the car breaking down, it will not show you just in the center led.
