Can you get Audi A8 upgrades that are not already in your car?

i have a 2006 Audi A8L and i have trouble paying for it sometimes. so i want to know instead of getting a new car, i could just get repairs and upgrades. like auto cruise or the really nice sound system thats not from stupid Bose. let me know if i can get any upgrades added to my car.Can you get Audi A8 upgrades that are not already in your car?Hmm, another lucky one with a Bose system...

I have a stock Bose in my G as well and it is mediocre at best.

I've looked into upgrading, but because Bose system impedance is 1-2 ohms, wheras all aftemarket speakers are 4 ohms, I'd have to replace the head unit along with the amps.

This can be costly, but luckily, the big box stores have alpine, kicker, pioneer etc packages that will perform much better- look for sales*as these prices also include the install. No need to go top of line- any midline system will be better than stock Bose!



As far as other upgrades... The A8 usually comes with everything, so I'd say new mags and tires: check tirerack.com - they have an app that fits your car with different mags!



Good luck!Can you get Audi A8 upgrades that are not already in your car?Auto cruise, or cruise control will be quite tricky to install. Especially on an A8 which has an electronic throttle bottle, and doesn't just use cables to open the throttle body.



Just about any aftermarket speakers will be better than the factory ones, even the Bose ones. You dont have to spend a fortune, just get some nice door and rear deck lid speakers and you will notice a big improvement.



It just depends on how technical you are. I would go on an Audi Forum and do some searching. Sure someone else has had the same door problem before and knows exactly how to fix it.
