Depends how the car was maintained and driven. If the person floored it non-stop and was a bit late with oil changes it could seriously decrease the life. Cars if properly maintained could easily pass 250k. 101k is not that much though. You have plenty of time left with it.

If you are buying an A4 with the 4 cylinder turbo that might have more risk.

At 100k needs new transmission fluid, coolant, timing belt (and water pump changed at same time just for preventative reasons), serpentine belt, the control arms may need to, or have already been replaced.



If it looks like a good deal pay an Audi dealer to test it, may cost over $100, but worth it.
