Should I be concerned about high mileage on an Audi A4 Diesel?

I have test drove an Audi A4 cabriolet - it is registered March 2007 - it is a diesel and has done 83,000.00 miles. I personally love the car but my partner is concerned at the miles it has done - should be worry about this?Should I be concerned about high mileage on an Audi A4 Diesel? With good regular serving that's nothing, it should go for much longer than that without any problems. In fact, regular lengthy use is much better than intermittent use with a raft of cold starts etc. That's why an ex-rep's car with an intergalactic mileage is often a better bet than one which has only been used to take a little old lady to church once a week.

Always buy on condition rather than miles indicated. I'd get it professionally inspected to set your mind at rest.Should I be concerned about high mileage on an Audi A4 Diesel?THats very high - average is 10,000 a year and thats done loads more. Does it have a full service history?

EDIT: THats good then. Audi servicing is horribly high priced (trust me I know - on my second Audi) I have generally found them to be reliable, great build quality, but pricey to get put right if something goes wrong. Get an AA/RAC check done on it (also do an HPI because it might just be on finance) but if its priced right, its well worth looking at.Should I be concerned about high mileage on an Audi A4 Diesel?Audi's internally are very well built and diesels generally have a slightly longer life span.

But for a ~3 year old car it is high, if it's priced accordingly and there are service records it might not be a bad buy and the engine should still have plenty of life left in it.Should I be concerned about high mileage on an Audi A4 Diesel?
yeah the car is 3 yrs old so that means the ppl who owned it b4 drove it almost everyday.but 83k miles is pretty low.i would still buy it
