Is it worth the money buying turbocharge or supercharge for a 1998-2001 audi a4?

I am thinking about buying an audi a4 between the years of 1998 and 2001 and I am just wondering if it is worth buying turbocharge or supercharge for it.Is it worth the money buying turbocharge or supercharge for a 1998-2001 audi a4?why not just get a4 that comes with a stock turbo?Is it worth the money buying turbocharge or supercharge for a 1998-2001 audi a4?the 1.8 motors are turbochargedIs it worth the money buying turbocharge or supercharge for a 1998-2001 audi a4?just get the 2.4 quattro, don't get the smaller engine becuase it is a turbo...Is it worth the money buying turbocharge or supercharge for a 1998-2001 audi a4?
No such thing as a 2.4 quattro. It's a 2.8



Ok here's the deal. The 2.8 is 190 hp stock. The 1.8t is 170 hp stock. With a chip, intake,exhaust, and downpipe, the 1.8t will easily surpass the the 2.8 with the same mods. You could always go bigger turbo also, but that could get pricey if you don't know how to work on your own car. As far as supercharging or turbocharging the 2.8, probably not a good idea. The 2.8 isn't the best motor Audi put out, internals-wise, so it will probably be pretty unreliable. Plus, with the money you would spend on a supercharger, you could probably have bought an S4. (Twin Turbo 2.7 V6 250). Then you could add a chip, intake, and exhaust to that and do 4 wheel burnouts.
