How can I temporarily disable warning lights on a 1986 BMW 325 coupe?

Bought this car as a project car not an everyday driver. The previous owner took very, very good care of it. He showed me all the recent inspection stuff, and maintenance receipts. never missed an oil changed or tune up etc, but the warning lights are screwy on the dash board even after the car is serviced and reset they stay on or go off then come back on. What fuses should I remove in order to get the light to go out temporarily so I can get it inspected? How can I temporarily disable warning lights on a 1986 BMW 325 coupe?Nope no fuse/wire/switch is going to make the lights go away yet still allow all the needed things to work also. Like the temp gauge and speedo.

Well you need a new part called an SI board... What you can do is take the whole instrument cluster out take it apart and put black take over the LED's. It actually looks like they were never there and it looks like the car was made that way.. The black tape method done right does not look like a joke its looks good..How can I temporarily disable warning lights on a 1986 BMW 325 coupe? The service reminder lights won't prevent it from passing an emissions test.
