Why is it constantly wet in the front on the floor of my 2000 BMW 323i?

They floor is always wet, even though it doesn't rain. I think water is coming in through the windshield, but I don't know where else. Once I observed an unusual amount of water on the inside of my windshield one morning. Has anyone else had this problem? Why is it constantly wet in the front on the floor of my 2000 BMW 323i?THAT IS TRUE THAT YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE A/C DRAIN TUBE DOES NOT HAVE A RESTRICTION AND THAT THE HEATER CORE IS NOT LEAKING AS WELL.

IF YOU THINK THAT THE WINDSHIELD IS LEAKING YOU CAN VERIFY THIS BY USING THE GARDEN HOSE AND LETTING THE WATER RUN ALL OVER THE WINDSHIELD WHILE ANOTHER PERSON IS INSIDE THE VEHICLE.

IF IT IS THE WINDSHIELD I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND JUST PUTTING A SEALER AROUND THE GLASS AND BODY OR THE MOLDING AND BODY BECAUSE THIS BMW IS NICE VEHICLE.

JUST HAVE A WINDSHIELD COMPANY REMOVE THE MOLDINGS AND THE OLD SEALER AND HAVE THEN RESEAL IT FOR YOU.

JOB DONE RIGHT AND VEHICLE LOOKS GREAT.

GOOD LUCK.Why is it constantly wet in the front on the floor of my 2000 BMW 323i?Yes, and once you know it's not a stopped up A/C water condensate line leaking into the car and it's not a leaking heater core, then you attack the windshield and anywhere else rain can leak in. On an old car I don't care about, I put a very thin clear seal of RTV in the joint between the chrome trim and the body of the car so that I know water can't be leaking past the windshield.

Try this Permatex windshield sealer:
