Which is the best for the deep dish pizza in Chicago....Ginos East or Girodanos or Lou Malnati's? Anyone who has all three or at least two of these and can give good feedback?Best Deep Dish Pizza In Chicago?
Connie's Pizza... awesome milkshakes too. I think there are several locations throughout the city.
I've had all three and enjoy the differences. Giordanos is the least similar to the others. You are missing the 2 better places than Gino's East and Lou Malnati's.



Real "old schoolers" like the original recipe at the original location. The second best is a block away. There is a famous chain that started has its roots here but these are still the best:

Connie's and Giordano's have great recipes as do several other pizza places. They don't really have a deep dish recipe...they're close.

Lou's is really good for the filling, cheese, toppings, etc..



Gino's has a GREAT crust - with the yellow corn meal...



Giordano's is good and that one is stuffed pizza, not deep dish, but the other two are probably better.



Pizzaria Ora (although looks like a whole in the wall) also has REALLY good deep dish.
Given the choices you have listed go for the Lou Malnatti's pizza. If you are near an Edwardo's try that as well, the Spinach Stuffed pizza is great.

Of you are in Chicago, and are looking for a awesome, great tasting deep dish pizza, you NEED to go to Lou Malnati's!! It is the best pizza!

I think Lou Malnati's is the best by far. Girodanos is ok but can't beat Lou!
