Is true Chicago Pizza deepdish or thin crust?

On travel channel type shows they always refer to Chicago Pizza as deep dish like Lou Malnottis or Gino's East.

I personally have always thought of Chicago pizza as being think crust, paper thin crust that is. Traversos in my opinoin has true Chicago pizza, good ingredients and paper thin crust. I can't stand Lou Malonittis or Gino's East.

What do you think? Why do many people think pan pizza is Chicago Pizza? In my opinoin Lou Malnottis and Gino's East are like tourist Chicago PizzaIs true Chicago Pizza deepdish or thin crust?
true Chicago pizza is trully thin crust but not PAPER thin crust like you said. its pretty thin but not that thin.Is true Chicago Pizza deepdish or thin crust?
my understanding is that chicago's pizza is super-thick crust and are similar to a deep-dish pie, giving the name of 'pizza pie' and the thin crust comes from New York and those are very wide pieces to where you can fold them up and eat them.Is true Chicago Pizza deepdish or thin crust?
Deep dish, thick pizza which isn't as good as thin.
