Best PIZZA in Chicago for an out of towner?

I was referred to Gino's East (633 N. Wells St) and also Lou Malnati's (439 N. Wells St).

Both seem close to each other. Was wondering which place is better? Or if there is a better pizzeria in town?

Or, for somebody only making it to Chicago for ONE LUNCH is there another place you can recommend? I was leaning towards pizza cause Chicago supposedly has some really good pizza....

Thanks!Best PIZZA in Chicago for an out of towner?
Lou Malnati's!!!
If you are looking for Chicago-style pizza...then you have got to go to Lou Malnati's. It is by far the best. Although Uno and Duo are excellent too. If I am remembering the history correctly...Uno and Duo are the original Chicago-style pizza and Lou Malnati's was opened like 10 years later by another family member. This was in the '40s or '50s, whereas Ginos wasn't opened until the '60s or '70s. In my opinion, Lou Malnati's is by far the best Chicago-style pizza. I hope you enjoy it!Best PIZZA in Chicago for an out of towner?
Diana, above has it right except for the years. Regardless, you will find excellent examples of the Chicago deep dish pizza at either of the original Uno or Due Pizzerias, Gino's East restaurants or any of the Lou Malnati sites.

warning....The recipe at Uno Chicago Grill restaurants is NOT the same as the original formula used at Pizzeria Uno and Pizzeria Due. Like the recipe at all Gino's East and all Lou Malnati places, it is excellent but it's a copy.
Lou Malnati's is considered better tasting deep dish pizza than UNO's. There was a taste test war and Lou won by unanimous decision. Try Lou Malnati's it's supposed to be the best deep dish pizza in Chicago.Best PIZZA in Chicago for an out of towner?
