Where can I get the best deep dish in Chicago?

Going on vacation in a couple of weeks with a few friends of mine who've never been to Chicago. My personal fave on deep dish is Gino's East; but I want to try something new - IF there's something better ;)

Anyone have any suggestions? We're going to be staying in The Loop... so deep dish close to that would be perfect!Where can I get the best deep dish in Chicago?
There are 5 restaurant names that are generally accepted as having the best Chicago deep dish recipes. You have been to 1 of them...Gino's East. Another copycat is Lou Malnatti's. He was a bartender at the original place where the pie was invented. He took the recipe and started out on his own.

Make your own decision as to "Where is the best deep dish pizza?"

My favorites lie in the beginning of the legendary taste and experience. The original recipe came from Pizzeria Uno in 1946. Although this is now a national chain, the recipe has remained the same in the 2 original locations.

The place became such a success that a second location was opened....Pizzeria Due:

Lou Malnati has several locations. The one at 439 N Wells is in the Loop:

The 5th place doesn't really call their pizza "deep dish" but it looks and tastes like it. It's called "stuffed." Giordano's 223 W Jackson is in the Loop:

I have always heard that Geno's Pizza is the best place for pizza in chicago, ask a cabbie to take you there.Where can I get the best deep dish in Chicago?
screw the deep dish for the real chicago experience yo have to go to Mr.Beef voted best italian beef
Are you here only for a few hours or will you be here a few days?

Go ahead and do the Gino's pizza then try Lou Malnatti's Pizza then decide what one you like best.

The next stop go to Portillo's you and your friend can order a Chicago Hot dog and an Italian beef and again decide what meal you like best. If you do Portillo's order the beef "wet' with giardiniera, a spicy mixture of peppers, carrots, celery adds that little something extra to the beef. (The chocolate cake is pretty good as well.)

Have fun and enjoy your visit.Where can I get the best deep dish in Chicago?
Giordano's is THE PLACE to be.
The original Uno's on Ontario and Wabash, my friend.
