I doubt that you would even find a proper transmission for that. No reputable mechanic would touch this with a ten foot pole, simply because of the issues with liability, emissions, and the massive amount of work it would entail to get it working. you have to replace not only the transmission, you'd have to find the proper pedal hanger assembly, clutch parts, wiring harness, computer, crossmember, linkages, etc. People don't realize just how different manual and automatic cars are, it's a lot more tha n just a transmission. It would be a lot cheaper for you to just sell the car and buy a manual one.
zxcvbnmHow much would it cost to convert my automatic BMW to manual transmission?not worth doing. isn't just gearbox that needs swapping. ecu inputs etc , mounts. drive train and so on all need sorting. the ECU itself is calibrated for auto shift and wil have to be replaced. much more effective use of money ( and a lot cheaper) is to trade current car in for a manual box version.
