Is BMW 335i cabriolet way more powerful, smooth and faster than the BMW 328i cabriolet?

I want to buy a BMW 3 cabriolet. I think the price tag for 335 is a little bit high so i am just curious to know that if 328i offers NEARLY similar performance and reliability? What better choice of cabriolet do i have in this price range? Between $50,000-$70,000 Canadian dollars.(I only take European Cars into Consideration)Is BMW 335i cabriolet way more powerful, smooth and faster than the BMW 328i cabriolet?As far as performance they're worlds apart especially in E93 cabriolet form. The folding hardtop weighs the car down but the N54/55 engine in the 335 handles it without a problem. The 328 is hella slow compared to it. Other than that they're both very nice depending on the options but if performance is a concern then the 335 greatly outshines the 328.Is BMW 335i cabriolet way more powerful, smooth and faster than the BMW 328i cabriolet?335i has twin turbos. and have around 300 hp. and 328i are naturally aspirated(no turbo) which has about 216 hp. keep in mind these are to THE wheels. which is the EXACT hp.

main problems with 335i is the turbo and fuel pump.. bmw has a hard time dealing with their turbo issues. since the 328i does not have turbo, you have nothing to worry about.

but seriously, cabriolet 335i cost just as much as an M3. why not buy that?

seriously the guy under me has no idea what he is talking about because if he did know, he would know that the e92 328i has a 3.0L engine, not a 2.5L engine.....the 2.5L engines are from the 325i in europe, but e90 325i is not a cabriolet now is it?

i dont drive yet, but my brother(18yrs) drives a 335is, so im not "MAD" at all.Is BMW 335i cabriolet way more powerful, smooth and faster than the BMW 328i cabriolet?M3.



The 335 has 3 liter twin turbo and is pretty quick, on the other hand the 328 is a 2.5 liter just like every other econobox on the road. In other words, if youre considering a 328 just buy a civic.
