Where is the sensor switch for top dead center on 1992 BMW 735i?

It is the crank position switch. According to my Indipendent Mechanic It will not engage the starter at top Dead Cnter. Does this make sence fpr a $500,00 cost?Where is the sensor switch for top dead center on 1992 BMW 735i?Your mechanic is a MORON. Unless the flex plate teeth are shot in that area. The crank position sensor is on the passenger (U.S) side of the engine down low at the vibration dampener. The big green round thing. The other sensor is on the #6 plug wire the wires from that go under the water neck and up to the long black injector cover/connector box. When this sensor is out the engine will run but at 1/2 power.Where is the sensor switch for top dead center on 1992 BMW 735i?there's a crank sensor on the car but that sensor is roughly 拢60 it will always try and start but unless it sees a signal from the sensor the engine will just turn over and wont fire.
