I need to know what bulbs are used for a E46 2001 BMW 330xi, the left low beam is flickering and about to go out, I believe it is a HID Xenon, (high beams are projector halogen).. What is the stock bulb usedWhat bulbs are in a 2001 BMW 330xi, HID Xenon, Low beam?Osram or Philips D2S.
But I would not be hasty in replacing the bulb. It may or may not be the real problem. It could be the ignitor unit. So to test, swap the left HID bulb with the right one to see if the problem follows. If the flickering stays put, then replace the ignitor. If it follows the suspect bulb, then replace the bulb.
