How do you get the tool tray cover off to get to the battery for charging on a BMW K75 Motor Bike?

I am having trouble in trying to remove the tool tray base in order to get to the battery so that it can be charged. What is the knack of doing this can anyone help?How do you get the tool tray cover off to get to the battery for charging on a BMW K75 Motor Bike?You do not need to remove the tool tray. If you're using a battery charger which is suitable for motorcycles, it will have smaller sized alligator clips which should fit on the battery terminals with the battery in place. I charge mine without removing anything.
